Electronic communication with the Register of Enterprises
Please use e-services located in portal www.latvija.lv in order to faster and easier submit application of registration in the Register of Enterprises or to submit information request.
We recommend writing to e-mail info@ur.gov.lv for better communication.
Using e-services of the Register of Enterprises located in portal www.latvija.lv, you can:
1. Submit application for registration;
2. Submit request and receive information.
Using e-mail info@ur.gov.lv, you can:
1. Ask your questions to the Register of Enterprises;
2. Send your application to the Register of Enterprises;
3. Submit an application for registration if the application or the attached documents have been signed with secure electronic signature issued in foreign countries.
Register of Enterprises accepts electronic documents which are signed with secure electronic signature and time stamp (all kind of applications, information requests, registration documents on changes and annual accounts) based on Paragraph 10 of Cabinet Regulations No. 473, adopted 28 June 2005 “Procedures for the Preparation, Drawing Up, Storage and Circulation of Electronic Documents in State and Local Government Institutions, and the Procedures by which Electronic Documents are Circulated between State and Local Government Institutions, or Between These Institutions and Natural Persons and Legal Persons”. The following file formats shall be used for an electronic document:
• Open Document Format (ODF) Office Applications;
• Office Open XML file format;
• Portable Document Format (PDF) or Portable Document format for long-term storage (PDF/A);
• digitally compressed and encoded in the image (JPEG, TIFF and PNG) format.
Additionally we accept also the following file formats:
• for a structured text – DOC*, RTF;
• for electronic charts – XLS*.
*MSOffice 2003 or older version.
Each document shall be separately electronically signed!
The total amount of the files attached to the e-mail may not exceed 12 MB.
