List of restricted-access information
If the requester of information, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Law, has failed to substantiate the request and specify the purpose for which the restricted access information will be used, the Register of Enterprises shall issue only publicly accessible information for which the status of restricted access is not specified in an external regulatory enactment or in the List of Restricted-Access Information (in latvian) of the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia.
Where a generally accessible document also contains restricted information, the Register of Enterprises shall, when making a derivative of this document, obscure the restricted information.
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Law, a person may request restricted-access information only through a justified request specifying the purpose for which it will be used. If restricted-access information is provided, the recipient undertakes to use it only for the purposes for which it was requested.
