Changes in the opening hours of several regional customer service centres

Please note that as from this May 7 the regional customer service centres of Bauska, Daugavpils, Jēkabpils, Liepāja, Rēzekne and Ventspils will be available twice a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:00 till 16:00. Rīga and Valmiera regional centres will maintain their current order.

Taking into account the strategic development directions of the Register of Enterprises, including the development of electronic services, as well as changes in customer demand for in person services, a decision has been reached to reduce the time of customer service.

Customers submit their registration documents electronically 60% of the cases, according to statistics for 2017 and 2018.

“All the services of the Register of Enterprises are already available electronically. Moreover, in the coming years, the institution services will only be available via electronic systems. Therefore, in 2017 we started to reduce working time in regional centres for customer service, so that customers and society as a whole could get used to the changes,” explains Guna Paidere, the chief state notary of the Register of Enterprises.

Paper documents for registration can also be sent via post.

Services of the Register of Enterprises can be received electronically in the state services portal www.latvija.lv Consultations about the services provided can be obtained by calling the institution's telephone number 67031703 or by asking the virtual assistant UNA. Currently UNA understands only Latvian, but the Register of Enterprises plans UNA will be able to communicate in English by the end of this year.
