From 1 August, changes to the regulation on the registration of economic operators' legal addresses and the advertising of commercial register records
With effect from 1 August 2021, a new regulation in two areas comes into force: in future, the consent of the owner of real estate to register the registered office is replaced by a statement from the merchant, and further the records of the commercial register will be published on the https://info.ur.gov.lv website of the Enterprise Register.
With effect from 1 August 2021, a new framework for the advertising of commercial register entries shall enter into force. Advertising is a legal term which means the disclosure of information registered in the Commercial Register (or another register).

As from 1 August 2021, also changes to the rules for the registration of the legal addresses of merchants - the consent of the owner of real estate to registration of the registered office is replaced with a statement provided by the applicant that the merchant has the right to register the registered office at the relevant address and that the merchant is also reachable at the relevant address.
