The Treaty of incorporation and its amendments must be signed by all members.

The document must contain:

• the name of the group, before or after it, includes the words 'European Economic Interest Group' or the abbreviation 'EEIG', unless those words or abbreviations are included in the name;
• the registered office of the group;
• the objectives of setting up the group;
• the name, firm name, legal form, permanent address or registered office and registration number and place of each member of the group, if any;
• the duration of the group's existence, unless it is indefinite.
