Registration of a EEIG in the Commercial Register
1. Summary
When setting up a European Economic Interest Group, there must be at least two companies or other legal persons having their principal management in different Member States or two natural persons carrying out their main business in different Member States, or a company or other legal person and a natural person; the principal management of the legal person must be situated in one Member State, and the person must carry out his or her principal activities in another Member State.

Documents to be submitted:
- application form EEIG1 (to be certified);
- the founding treaty;
- the written consent of each head of the group to be the head of the group, certifying the absence of restrictions specified in Section 3, Paragraph two of the European Economic Interest Groups Law;
- a receipt or a copy thereof, or a printout of an online bank payment, or information regarding the payment of the State fee.
