4. Certifying the signatures
When submitting documents in paper format, it shall be necessary to certify the signatures on the minutes of the meeting of the participants or the agreement of the decision and the liquidator, if a new liquidator has been appointed. If the application for resignation is signed by the liquidator himself, his or her signature on the application shall not be certified notarially.
Signatures may be certified as follows:
- a sworn notary;
- in the Orphan's Court, after the declared place of residence (if the person has a personal identity number of the Republic of Latvia), if there is no notary in the county, county city or county parish;
- when signing documents with a secure electronic signature and time stamp. Where a document is to be signed by more than one person, it may be provided electronically only if all the signatories have an electronic signature.
