4. Certifying the signatures
When submitting documents in paper form, it is necessary to certify signatures on the minutes of the meeting of participants or the decision and the consent of the liquidator to take up the position (which is in the form OF a separate document or included in Sub-paragraph 3.1 of the application form KR13), if the appointed liquidator is not an existing Member of the board of directors.
Signatures may be certified by:
- by a sworn notary;
- in the Orphan's court according to the declared place of residence (if the person has a personal identity number of the Republic of Latvia), if there is no notary in the county, county city or county parish;
- documents shall be signed with a secure electronic signature and time stamp. If a document is to be signed by more than one person, it may be provided electronically only if all signatories have an electronic signature.
