3. Certifying the signatures
When submitting documents in paper format, it is necessary to certify the merchant's signature on THE application form KR18 if changes in the amount of the contract are applied for (the right to act with immovable property or the amount of the right of representation has been changed). If changes to the information regarding the personal data of the Prosecutor are applied for, the signature of the Management Board shall not be certified notarially on the application.
Signatures may be certified as follows:
- At a sworn notary
- In the Orphan's Court, after the declared place of residence (if the person has the personal identity number of the Republic of Latvia), if there is no notary in the county, county city or county parish
- When signing documents with a secure electronic signature and time stamp. Where a document is to be signed by more than one person, it may be provided electronically only if all the signatories have an electronic signature.
