7. Certifying the signatures
When submitting documents in paper format, it is necessary to certify the signatures on these documents: KR4 or KR3 of the application form of the newly formed company, the consent of the members of its board (if the consent is included in the application, the signature may be certified on the application), the division of the register of participants.
Signatures may be certified as follows:
- At a sworn notary
- In the Orphan's Court, after the declared place of residence (if the person has the personal identity number of the Republic of Latvia), if there is no notary in the county, county city or county parish
- When signing documents with a secure electronic signature and time stamp. Where a document is to be signed by more than one person, it may be provided electronically only if all the signatories have an electronic signature.
