The activities of the association shall be terminated by a decision of the meeting of members, commencing the bankruptcy procedure of the association, the number of members decreasing to one member or the other number specified in the articles of association, by terminating the term specified in the articles of association (if the association is established for a specified period), by a court adjudication, on another basis specified in the law or the articles of association.

Members shall have the right to participate and vote at the meeting of members remotely. Read more in the Explanatory to Remote Participation in Meetings of Members, Shareholders and Members.

Documents to be submitted:

• application form B7;
• the minutes of the meeting of members or an extract thereof (if the activities of the association have expired with the decision of the meeting of members);
• the decision of the executive body (if the number of members is reduced to one member or other number specified in the articles of association, or if the term specified in the articles of association for which the association was founded expires);
• a third-country national (alien) who has a legal relationship with Latvia on the basis of which mutual rights and duties in the field of commercial activity and taxes are formed or have been established, but has not been granted the personal identity code of the Republic of Latvia, a questionnaire for the inclusion of information in the Register of Natural Persons (to be signed by the third-country national with a secure electronic signature in order to submit electronically;, this document shall not be submitted);
• if it is not possible to submit to the service portal, a receipt or a copy thereof, or a printout of an online bank payment, or information on the payment of the State fee, must be attached.

The liquidator shall submit a statement regarding the termination of the activities of the association and its liquidation in the official publication Latvijas Vēstnesis (Latvijas Vēstnesis) personally.
