After satisfying the claims of creditors or covering the costs of the deposit and liquidation of the sums provided for them, the liquidator shall draw up a financial statement of the closing of the association and distribute the remaining property between the persons entitled to that property in accordance with the articles of association, unless otherwise specified in law.
After distribution of the property of the remainder of the association, the liquidator shall submit an application for completion of the liquidation to the register authority. An application for exclusion of the association from the register shall be submitted not earlier than 6 months from the time of publication of the notice in the official publication 'Latvijas Vēstnesis'.

Before submitting an application for the exclusion of the rightholder from the register, make sure that all the obligations with the State Revenue Service have been settled. The Enterprise Register shall request an appropriate statement from the State Revenue Service prior to the exclusion of the foundation electronically. If the State Revenue Service provides a reply that all debts have not been settled or all necessary reports or reports have not been submitted, the Enterprise Register will postpone the exclusion of the association from the register and determine the deadline for the elimination of deficiencies.
