2. Checking the address
The legal address of the foundation shall be the address which has been entered in the Register of Associations and Foundations. The registered office shall be the official place of communication which ensures the circulation of correspondence between the foundation and other institutions. The purpose of the legal address of the foundation is to make the foundation board accessible and to ensure that entries in the register of associations and foundations correspond to the actual situation.
If information, documents or other correspondence are sent to the foundation to the registered office of associations and foundations, the foundation shall be deemed to have received such documents, information or other correspondence on the seventh day if the consignor has demonstrated that such dispatch has been performed.
Conditions for registration of the registered office:
- The registered address must be the same as the address entered in the national address register. Check the free address in the State Address Register Information System www.kadastrs.lv
- If the immovable property consists of several groups of premises, it is necessary to indicate the exact number of the group of rooms in which the registered office is registered.
