    • Applications and documents can be submitted online via the service portal.
    • Documents must be signed electronically and submitted in the required format.
    • Electronically signed documents can be verified free of charge via the eParaksts portal.
      Verification allows anyone to confirm the signer’s identity, ensure the document has not been altered, and check the validity of the electronic signature and timestamp.
  • Secure electronic signature
    • To sign documents and submit applications online, all signatories must have a secure electronic signature (for example, eParaksts or eID).
    • Electronically signed documents can be verified.
  • Official electronic communication (e‑Address)
    • The e‑Address is Latvia’s official electronic communication channel with public authorities.
    • It ensures secure delivery of decisions, requests, and notifications from the Register of Enterprises.
